Maintenance Technician - Compensation: Based on experience in Indianapolis, Indiana

 
Southside printing company is filling a full-time position and looking for someone that has experience as a Maintenance Technician with responsibilities for ensuring that all production and facilities equipment are kept in good working order including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, electronics and  HVAC.
 
 Previous experience with screen-printing and Finishing/Bindery equipment is a plus.
Responsibilities include: 
Repair and PM on equipment including, but not limited to: printing presses, sewing machines, 3-phase motors, variable speed drives and controls, and forklifts.
General maintenance of facility
Troubleshoot and identify issues with faulty equipment, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. 
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings of equipment. 
 
Requirements: 
High School diploma, GED or equivalent required
Able to work with minimal supervision within a flexible environment 
Must be willing to work OT (some weekends) when needed (sometimes with short notice). 
Strong sense of urgency
Must be computer literate.
Ability to consult resources, read and interpret operating, procedure and maintenance manuals, diagrams and blueprints
Willing to learn
